Tata Pixel, Tata Motors Artificial Futuristic Car
World’s cheapest car manufacturer, Tata Motors, some time ago featuring a new concept product that called the Tata Pixel on the Geneva Motor Show 2011.
The plan, cars with futuristic design will be realized in the production version and is ready to be marketed.
As reported by gotbroken.com Wednesday (03/16/2011), for the production version, Tata Pixel uses a diesel engine capacity of 1200 cc three-cylinder. With the help of a turbocharged, the engine is capable of spraying up to 60 hp power.
“This machine is designed for low friction, has a good cooling system, and a fast supply of fuel,” writes those pages.
For its newest product, Tata claims Pixel extremely fuel efficient and environmentally friendly. Evident from the test results, Pixel only requires 3.4-liter diesel to travel a distance of 100 kilometer and produce CO2 emissions by 89 g / km.
Economical fuel consumption is obtained by optimizing the design for the car to minimize wind resistance, the use of tires with low rolling resistance, as well as start-stop technology.
Uniqueness of this car is the part that uses scissor doors like a Lamborghini car. But reportedly, for the production version will still use the conventional system.
The plan, for the early stages Tata Pixel will be released for the European market. But until now the Tata Motors has not revealed how much the selling price of the car, whether to stay cheap or more expensive as the Nano.
